HAIR AND SCALP DIAGNOSIS

THE KÉRASTASE HAIR EROSION SCALE
After extensive research, Kérastase has developed the Hair Erosion Scale, meeting the needs of damaged hair. The scale assess hair damage and places it on a scale from 1 to 4, 1 being slightly damaged, and 4 total destruction of the hair fibre. Once the erosion level has been diagnosed, a personalised treatment will be prescribed for the hair.

1. Some raised and separated scales, fibre surface is less smooth.

2. Scales are raised and detached.

3. Deterioration of the fibre’s surface. Fibre’s internal structure is visible.

4. The internal structure of the fibre is damaged and totally eroded.
