L'Oreal Rock n Folk Collection

By Elise Donoghue

I try to live by the motto ‘work smarter, not harder’ and that’s exactly what having a keratin treatment has allowed me to do with my hair!

I have a ridiculous amount of fine hair that seems to take an eternity to dry (if I go to bed with it damp, it will still be damp in the morning!) and two years ago the texture changed noticeably with a wavy / frizzy patch forming at the back.  As much as I encouraged it to curl, it was never going to happen, it would just get bigger and boofier throughout the day.
My hair and I were at odds; if I tried to get it to curl on its own it would just become a big frizzy mess, and when I straightened it, it showed its resistance and would kink throughout the day.  Finally I gave up the curly hair dream and had a keratin smoothing treatment.

The new Keratin Complex smoothing therapy took less than three hours, and the only downside is that you can’t shampoo it for three days (72 hours).  I usually shampoo every second day and will admit I found it hard, especially as I’d been to Taste of Auckland and the smokey smell of barbeque was not what I wished my hair to smell like! However the results make it worth it!  My hair dries in literally half the time, I still have an amount of natural movement but no frizz and it no longer gets wider throughout the day.

The results speak for themselves and I couldn’t be happier!  If you’re sick of battling the frizz, call and book in for a complimentary, no obligation Keratin consultation.
